Your tiers, written.
Three tiers, the About and the welcome post, from what you already make. Tomorrow.
For people who want to watch the prints happen and keep the sketchbook.
- Every post, as it happens: the two finished prints a month and the carve clips
- The month's sketchbook pages as one PDF on the last Sunday
- Your name on the thanks page in the quarterly print mailing
For people who want a say in what gets carved next.
- Everything in Proof
- A vote on next month's subject (one poll, posted on the 1st)
- The full-length carve video of each print, not the clip
For people who want the prints on their wall.
- Everything in Edition
- A 5 × 7 print in the post every quarter (US addresses; elsewhere a signed digital edition)
- The monthly studio call, 45 minutes, recorded for anyone who misses it
Three steps.
Send what you make
The thing itself and how often, who follows you, the few things you could add, any prices in mind.
We write the tiers
Three or four tiers, each named, priced and filled only with what you already make. The About text and the welcome post, in your voice. One line per tier on what it asks of you.
Paste it in
The PDF and the plain text land the next day. You set the tiers up on your own page in ten minutes. One free round of changes.
What you send, what you get.
Inkbound, Patreon. Linocut printmaker in Portland, Oregon. Makes: two finished prints a month, a process clip of each carve, a sketchbook of 10–15 pages a month. Followers: ~4,000 on Instagram, ~300 newsletter readers. Has a small shop. Could add: a vote on subjects, a print in the post each quarter (US only), a monthly studio call. Prices in mind: $3 to $20. Avoid: the word 'exclusive'; nothing daily.
Inkbound · three tiers, named and priced
The tiers
Proof $3 (watch, and keep the sketchbook PDF) · Edition $8 (vote on the next subject, the full carve video, 15% off the shop) · Studio $20 (a 5 × 7 print in the post each quarter, the monthly studio call, first pick of new editions). Each tier ends with one line on what it asks of the creator per month. only what you already make
The About text and the welcome post
"I carve linocuts in a small studio in Portland: birds, river bends, the things I walk past. Two finished prints a month, the carving on camera…" The page intro under 100 words, and the pinned welcome post that says what lands when. Written from the facts, in the creator's voice.
The tier maths
What each tier costs the creator in time and postage, and a cap on the top tier. nothing daily, nothing promised on a member count
An invented creator. Yours is written from your own facts and prices.
A page-setup gig runs $20 to $50 and skips the part that matters: what goes in each tier and what it costs you to keep delivering it. This is that part, written down, from your own facts.
- 3 or 4 tiers: name, price, one line, perk list
- What each tier asks of you per month, so nothing is over-promised
- The About text, under 100 words, in your voice
- The pinned welcome post
- The tier maths: time, postage, a cap on the top tier
- One free round of changes within a week
Send what you make.
Three questions.
What exactly do I get?
Three or four tiers, each with a name, a price, a one-line description and a perk list built only from what you already make or said you could add; one line per tier on what it asks of you each month; the About text for the page (under 100 words); the pinned welcome post; and the tier maths. As a PDF and as plain text you paste into Patreon, Ko-fi or Buy Me a Coffee yourself. The next day after payment.
Will you tell me what to charge?
We suggest a price for each tier from what you told us and what creators in your kind of work usually charge, and we say why. If you gave us prices, we use yours. The numbers are suggestions you can change in a minute; the thing that takes thought is which perk sits in which tier and what it costs you to deliver, and that is what the pack does.
What if I want changes?
One free round within a week: rename a tier, move a perk, change a price, cut a tier. Reply to the delivery email with the order code and the list. A new pack for a second page is a new order.
